Building Regulations


The Harris County Building Regulations are adopted and approved for implementation by the Commissioners Court of Harris County. These regulations establish the rules and procedures to be followed in the use of Harris County buildings, and their adjoining grounds.


These regulations give the definitions and the protocols for:

» Gaining access to Harris County properties

» Use of the properties for non-official activities such as meetings, petitions, protests.

» And other general provisions to enhance the health and safety of both tenants and visitors and to prevent damage to the property.
