Frequent Courthouse Visitor Badge Program

Please Read Prior to Completing the Application Form. It is the applicant’s responsibility to read and understand the policies and procedures for the FCV Badge Program.

1) The FCV Badge application is available for download on this website, and can be picked up in person at Facilities & Property Management (FPM) Customer Service, 1310 Prairie, Suite 140, or at the Administrative Office of the District Courts @ 1201 Franklin, 7th floor.

2) Obtain a personal background history secured from the Department of Public Safety ( DPS) as referenced in the programs policies and procedure. View your nearest, Texas Department of Public Safety office address online at www.txdps.state.tx.us/index.htm.

3) Submit, in person, a completed, unsigned, original application form and personal background history. The applicant must be sworn and signed in the presence of the Harris County Oversight Committee's program designee. Proof of identification in the form of a current photo identification card will be required prior at the time of signature.
Application packages are accepted Monday thru Friday from 7:30AM to 4:30PM at the FPM Customer Service office located at 1310 Prairie, Suite 140, Houston, Texas.

4) Payment in the form of money order, cashiers or corporate check, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express is required at time of application submittal.

Badge Fees

$50 for initial application and Frequent Courthouse Visitors Badge. Thereafter, renewal fees are $40 annually. Badges are renewed every calendar year and are valid from January 1 to December 31.

For your convenience, FPM's Customer Service is open Monday - Friday 7:30a - 4:30p at our new location, 1310 Prairie, 1st floor, Suite 140.

All documents submitted to Harris County become the property of the County and will not be returned. Photocopies of any additional documentation required to support your application must clearly show all names, signatures and other pertinent information.
